Description:

The Orange Storm Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a designer variant of the Ocellaris Clownfish, bred for its bold, irregular white patterning set against a vivid orange background with striking black outlines. This selectively bred variety adds a modern, artistic twist to the classic clownfish look, making it a standout addition to any marine aquarium.

Orange Storm Clownfish are hardy, easy to care for, and well-suited for both beginner and experienced aquarists. Like other Ocellaris Clownfish, they are peaceful but can become territorial, particularly when paired or in smaller tanks. They can be kept alone, as a bonded pair, or in small groups, though multiple clownfish should be introduced carefully to avoid aggression.

This species is reef-safe and thrives in a variety of tank setups, from fish-only systems to full reef environments. While they can form symbiotic relationships with anemones such as Bubble Tip Anemones (Entacmaea quadricolor), they do not require an anemone to thrive and will often host in corals, rockwork, or even tank decorations.

As omnivores, Orange Storm Clownfish should be fed a varied diet that includes high-quality marine pellets, flakes, frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood to maintain their vibrant coloration and health.

With their unique markings, playful personality, and ease of care, Orange Storm Clownfish are an eye-catching and exciting addition to any saltwater aquarium.
